Check Your Hard Drive Health With CrystalDiskInfo

Whenever we talk about PC’s health or temperature we often forget to take hard drive health and temperature into consideration. Hard drives normally have MTBF (Mean Time Before Failure). CrystalDiskInfo is very good utility that gives you information about your hard drive using S.M.A.R.T (Self-Monitoring Interface).

As you can see, my hard drive is running at 45°C (Which is good as normally hard drives operational temperature is between 0-60°C), you can change the temperature reading from Celsius to Fahrenheit from CrystalDiskInfo settings. Also it gives information like how long your hard drive is running, as for me it is 14952 hrs or 623 days and the number of times your system has been rebooted, my count is 1933. You can also check the rotation speed of your hard drive, its interface, and transfer modes along with the features supported by your hard drive. There are a lot of functions provided by crystaldiskinfo, which you can go through, but for normal users the all the facts on the default window is more than enough for almost everyone.via[techyfuzz]
