Listen up people, there’s another smartphone in the amazing Samsung’s Galaxy line up: the Galaxy S Advance. This is the Android smartphone with model number GT-i9070 that has made a couple of appearances at some places before finally getting official.
Coming to the specs, the Galaxy S Advance is powered by Android 2.3 Gingerbread with Samsung’s very own TouchWiz thrown over the top. It features a four inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels.
It is powered by a 1GHz dual-core CPU under the hood and comes along with 768MB of RAM and packs up to 16GB of memory. The smartphone sports a curved design as the Galaxy Nexus (Men prefer curves!!).
The Galaxy S Advance boasts two shooters: a five megapixel rear-facing camera and a 1.3 megapixel camera in the front. The device also supports HSPA connections at speeds of up to 14.4Mbps.
This is the roll out schedule of the smartphone. Beginning to show up in Russia next month, theGalaxy S Advance will then hit the stores in Europe, Africa, Middle East, Southeast and Southwest Asia, Latin America and China.
Ah, the US is evidently absent from the list. And the company has not commented wen it lands Stateside.
There’s no word on pricing as well. Let’s just sit and wait for the updates to surface.Via [DeviceMag]
